Ed's graduating thesis for Mechanical Engineering Degree was "Vehicle Dynamics for the Racing Automobile". While that study used the old style force convention that analyzed the tire, Dellis changed that to his Fuzzy Dice paradigm after he began leading the classroom at the Bobby Rahal TrackTime Driving Schools...this, after 2-1/2 years teaching at the Skip Barber Racing School in the mid-80s.
While writing full time for SAE's Automotive Engineering magazine, Dellis went on to receive two U.S. Patents for inventing the PersonaGrip custom-molded steering wheels that you see everywhere in IndyCar, F1/NASCAR/et al.
www.SteeringWheelGuy.com is where you can get your wheel converted, and www.SteeringWheelTechnology.com is where you can see his video presentation given at worldwide steering wheel conferences.
Today, Dellis drives Chuck Beck's Lister Corvette #007 which was his personal lightweight racecar: www.ListerCorvette.com.
